Incubator-style workshop 

This means we work on a live business problem" and help you learn by feeling and doing. We are ANTI-theory! We dive straight into practical activities with 0 Powerpoint Slides .

Live business challenge

Pick up skills working on a live business challenge and apply your new skills in your job immediately!

Activity 1 - Guide me hands off! 

See if you can guide your team to launch a new Chocolate Flavour for Elegant Chocolates without doing it for them!

Activity 2 - Pitch me an idea!

Propose an idea to Elegant Chocolates after understanding what two key stakeholders think!

Activity 3 - Say the right thing

 You have two team members Sarah and Thomas who are clashing. How would you give them feedback? Learn in the workshop!

Mini Plan

Reflect on everything you've learnt and build your own personalised plan on areas you want to get better in. It's really simply and fun using an instagram reel! 

We don't teach you lots of things at once.

As a manager, now you have to make decisions in the way you go to your manager. Often with little guidance. Learn how to do this and represent your company. Learn what your customers need. 
Discover some of your habits, ego, and preferences. It’s not about you it’s about others. You can only help others if you know how to help yourself.
You're so used to "doing" things yourself. As a manager you’ll now need to guide people to complete a task as you can’t do it for them. Instead clarify the task, discuss/ debate, plan, help out.
You'll work with more people as a manager. Learn how to adapt how you talk to different people and in unique situations. This means listening so you know how to respond. Be assertive, but say the tough things with respect.
You now look after your colleagues/team not just yourself. Learn to give feedback, care, give guidance, and create a place where your colleagues/team feel happy to come to work. Work with former peers.

Frequently asked questions

I'm not yet a manager, can I still sign up? Do I need any current experience?

Yes! You can enrol if you're planning to be a manager in the future. You don't need current experience. 70% of attendees take our workshop to get ready before becoming a manager.

I've already been a manager for a little while, can I still sign up?

Yes! We set up Get Me Manager-Ready as we know only 23% of current managers have an induction. Our mission is to help every manager get trained!

What does the workshop cover and can I get materials after the workshop?

Yes we send you a link to all the materials. You can get a feel for the workshop by flicking through the activities above and we're also launching a video trailer soon!

I work for a company and would like to send some staff, can I?

Yes! Absolutely, your staff can either enrol directly onto the  "public" cohorts and network with others like them across the world. Or contact us here for a bespoke private date where we can run the workshop just for staff at your company.
